6 (about 6 oz. each) Alaska salmon fillets or steaks, thawed if necessary
Salt & pepper
Fresh herb butter
Hot foil-wrapped new potatoes
Hot foil-wrapped peas
Sprinkle salmon with salt and pepper. Place on well-greased grill about 5" from medium-hot coals. Baste with fresh herb butter. Cover with barbecue lid or tent of aluminum foil. Grill, basting frequently, allowing 10 minutes cooking time per inch of thickness measured at its thickest part or until salmon flakes when tested with a fork. Serve with remaining fresh herb butter, foil-wrapped new potatoes and foil-wrapped peas. Makes about 6 servings.
FRESH HERB BUTTER:i usually have some served on the side yet the simplest you cook yr salmon the best way ,u dont need any butter yet for a richer recipeu can indulge yr appetite with it , unlesss u r weight watching this is another story ;) bs begad its lovely
