FRESH SAGE TEA FROM ALAA MOHAMED


Herbal tea has delicate flavors simulating the senses and creates space to unwind and recollect. Sage has velvety soft green-grey leaves and is considered to have a peppery flavor. It's a good remedy when you're feeling a little under the weather.

2 cups water
3 fresh sage stems
Sugar (optional)

1. Bring water to a boil in a teapot.
2. While water boils add in sage, stir well and turn off heat.
3. Cover teapot and let steep for 3-5 minutes.
4. Serve right away.
