APPLE FRITTERS

1 Tbsp. butter; softened, 1 Tbsp. sugar, 1 egg, 1/2 cup + 6 Tbsp. flour, 1/8 ts. cinnamon, 1/2 ts. baking powder, 2 sm. apples; peeled and chopped, 12 Tbsp. milk

Sift the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until smooth.Beat in the eggs and gradually add the flour.Add the milk and beat well. Fold in the apples. Drop in a teaspoon of the batter for each fritter. Deep fry until golden brown. Remove from oil with a slotted spoon. Drain on paper towel.
